5. Love Letter: Write a letter or draw a picture for someone they love—parents, siblings, friends, or even a pet!

7. Make yummy Valentine's Day cereal treats
8. Watch a family-friendly Valentine's Day movie
9. Try a fun STEM activity, like dissolving candy hearts in different liquids to see what happens.

And, making the countdown calendar can be as simple or complex as you want it to be {I always opt for simple and easy}
Idea 1: Take a Mason jar and fill with 14 hearts, each one having a special message. Each day you get to pick a new heart out to see what today’s special treat will be.
Idea 2: Take 14 envelopes or brown paper bags, decorate, and hang on a string with clothespins. Put a special message inside each envelope and voila!
Idea 3: Create a Valentine’s envelope and stick 14 popsicle sticks inside. Each one is numbered and has a special message on the back!
