Founded in October 2023, Whimsical Wishes is all about bringing the enchantment of beloved characters straight to your family’s special events. From their beginnings with one sparkling ice queen, Elsa, this family-run business has grown to offer a broader variety of characters with 10 on their current roster.

Inspired by the magic of Walt Disney World, Gabrielle, the company’s Lead Performer and Creative Coordinator, wanted to bring that same joy to families in our community. Gabrielle’s background in musical theatre shines through in every performance—she’s trained with the Virginia Children’s Theatre, Mill Mountain Theatre, and even the Stella Adler Studio in New York! Talk about star quality. 🌟
Actors with Whimsical Wishes are held to a high expectation. They are expected to deeply study the characters story, mannerisms, and signature catchphrases. Each actor receives a detailed character guide that includes, makeup tips, signature poses, key backstory details, commonly asked questions, and more, They ofter practice improvisation to prepare for spontaneous interactions that happen at a party or event. If there is singing or performing expected at the event, they hold dedicated rehearsals to ensure that everything is absolutely perfect. Every event is designed to include all kids, with activities tailored to the age group and interests of the audience. For example there is always, singing and dancing at their royal events. The kids at these events especially like to dance with ribbons and scarves and belt out their favorite songs with the character. For older kids, the characters mix in fun and games and frequently even bring crafts along to add to the experience.

- Valentine’s Day Chocolate-grams (Feb 13-14): Anna the chocolate loving princess will deliver a box of chocolates and a warm hug to your Valentine for just $25 in Salem//Roanoke/Bedford locations and $/35 for locations in Franklin/Montgomery/Bedford Counties. She will travel to your house or a location of your choice.

"During a private Frozen photo session we were part of last year, Elsa began singing “Let It Go” with a little princess who had come for her photo. The 8-year-old belted out the song with all her heart, gazing up at Elsa with pure adoration. Her mom, grandma, and brother were there too, sharing in the moment. Mom and Grandma joined in the singing, their voices filled with emotion, as they wiped away tears during this unforgettable, magical experience. But, truly, at every event or interaction we walk away with more and more favorite moments. "
