Do you have a young artist at home who adores cats? The Kitty City Cat Café is launching a Kid-Made Cat Museum Project, and they’re looking for original, framed cat-themed art to fill their walls with purr-sonality!
All submissions must be framed and about cats—whether factual or whimsical, realistic or abstract. As a thank you for participating, each artist will receive two free passes to visit the café and hang out with the adoptable kitties!

This program invites community members to take a shelter dog out for the day—whether it's for a walk in the park, a mountain adventure, or just a cozy ride around town. It gives the dogs a break from the shelter and gives families a fun bonding experience.

Looking to give back in a meaningful way? Volunteers are needed to help care for the Pet Cemetery at the Roanoke Valley SPCA—a peaceful place where families honor their beloved pets.

- Trim around headstones
- Pull weeds and clear overgrowth
- Raise headstones and remove debris
- Maintain walking paths
